Service Overview
  • Remote device monitoring for all available companies - Boston Scientific, Biotronik, Medtronic, Sorin and St Jude Medical.

  • Registering of patients on the manufacturer’s website and the setting up of the pre-determined alerts.

  • Monitor mailed to patient’s home / initial monitor setup

  • Daily monitoring of the manufacturer's websites for device alerts.

  • Alerts sent to you via a technology of your preference – eg email or SMS.

  • Patient scheduling for remote device downloads.

  • Monthly patient specific device reports with summary of findings

  • SMS or email sent to patient monthly to confirm monitor is transmitting

  • Trouble shooting of home monitors in the unlikely event of non-transmission

  • Patients notified their monitor is functioning appropriately

 

Alerts
  • ERI

  • Atrial fibrillation burden >10% of one day

  • VT with appropriate therapy and no shocks delivered

  • Right atrial, right ventricle and LV lead impedance out of range <200 or >2000ohms

  • Shock impedance <20 or > 100 ohms

  • CRT pacing <85%

  • Failure to resolve non-transmission issues within 60 days, e.g. patient non-compliance

  • Inappropriate detection of VT/VF

  • VT with delivered shocks

  • Device status reset

  • VF detected

  • Device tachycardia therapy disabled

 

The above alerts will be sent to you via email. This will include the patient’s details with a brief description of the alert as well as a complete device report with electrograms (if transmitted) of the event in PDF format.

 

Patient database

 

All reports and patient data is kept in the RRM database. Access via a secure login is provided complimentary with the service.
